Public Folder Calendars

To add a Public Folder Calendar to the Calendar pane of Outlook under "Other Calendars":

  1. Go to the "Folders" section of Outlook by clicking the ellipsis at the bottom of the window and choosing "Folders."

  2. Expand the "Public Folders -- YourEmailAddress" folder in the left hand column.

  1. Navigate through the hierarchy to your Public Folder Calendar.

  2. Right click the Calendar and choose "Add to Favorites."

  3. Click Add.

  4. Open the "Favorites" section of Public Folders.

  1. Access the Calendar by clicking on it.

  2. The Calendar will load and will also be added to "Other Calendars" in the Calendar pane of Outlook.

Note: If an Owner has not granted you permissions on the Calendar, you will not be able to access it. Owners can add and remove permissions on a Public Folder calendar. Please see the instructions at Setting Permissions on a Public Folder in Outlook 2013 after accessing the Public Folder using the instructions above or from the Calendar pane in Outlook.

To access a Public Folder Calendar which has previously been added to the Calendar pane of Outlook:

  1. Go to the "Calendar" section of Outlook.

  2. Expand the "Other Calendars" section on the left.

  3. Select the Public Folder Calendar in question.

  4. The calendar will load.

To share a Public Folder Calendar:

Public Folder Calendars should be shared by Setting Permissions on a Public Folder in Outlook 2013 and then having the other person add the Public Folder Calendar using the instructions at the top of this page.
