Summary:
These instructions are provided to help assist users with updating desktop based Outlook Application for Mac OS in the USNH Unified M365 environment. There are two parts, 1) removing the old campus based account, and 2) adding the account for the Unified environment.

Part 1: Removing the old campus based account
1. Open the Apple Mac Mail email client:

2. Go to Outlook -> Preferences in the upper left menu next to the Apple icon:

3. Select the "Accounts Tab":

4. Under the accounts listing, select your campus account and click the minus (-) button at the bottom of the list. This will remove the account from the desktop based apple mail application on your computer but will not impact the email on the web. You may have other accounts listed in the accounts listing (i.e. Gmail or iCloud) - these accounts are not impacted by this process and should be left as is.

5. Quit out of the Apple mail client.
Part 2: Adding the USNH unifed M365 email and calendar accounts
1. Open the Apple Mac Mail email client:

2. Go to Mail -> Preferences in the upper left menu next to the Apple icon:

3. Select the "Accounts Tab":

4. Under the accounts listing, click the Plus (+) button at the bottom of the list:

5. At the Welcome Screen, Click "Add Email Account"

6. Enter your email address as follows: first-name.last-name@campus.edu with the campus being your Primary Home campus.
For example:
- Francine.Smith@granite.edu
- Tom.Brown@keene.edu
- Susan.Smith@plymouth.edu
- Joe.White@unh.edu
Click the "Continue" button

8. you will be passed over to the log-in page for the Unified M365 environment. Log in with your Username/NetID and Password:
(example: abc9876, not your email address)

9. You will be passed back to the Outlook Application and will see a green check mark indicating that your accoutn has. been successfully linked. When done, click the "Done" button
