How to Create RSS Feed Alert Emails in Trax

Why is this important to me?

RSS is a simple XML?based system that lets users subscribe to content such as news or website updates and then aggregate it into a single location using RSS?aware software. With this feature, you can target important information to members of your organization. Users who subscribe to the RSS feed can view the information as it is updated in the program.

Step 1: Click the More button along the action bar. Select View RSS feed.

Note: A new web page appears.

Step 2: Copy the hyperlink from the web page.

Step 3: Open your outlook email account. Right-click on the RSS Feeds folder. Select Add a New RSS Feed.

Step 4: Paste the hyperlink in the RSS Feed window.

Step 5: Click Add.

Step 6: Select Yes on the Microsoft Outlook window.

Note: A folder appears with the title of the RSS feed.
