How to Edit Planned Gift Designations in Trax

Why is this important to me?

From the Planned Gift Details tab of a planned gift, you can specify the designations to which to apply the planned gift revenue.

Step 1: Open a planned gift record.

Note: Refer to the How to Search for a Revenue Transaction in Trax document to help open a planned gift transaction.

Step 2: Click Go to planned gift in the Explorer bar.

Step 3: Click Edit on the Planned gift details action bar.

Step 4: Configure information in the Edit planned gift designation window.

Note: You can add multiple designations.

Note: Highlight the Amount column to enter a different monetary value.

Note: If applicable, click the Distribute evenly button to distribute the amount among all designations.

Step 5: Click the Save button.
