Adobe has made the entire creative suite, including Adobe Premiere, available to sudents during the covid-19 pandemic. You may request a license by visiting http://www.unh.edu/ic and submitting a ticket requesting access to a license.

iMovie is available on any Apple device. This includes laptops, desktops, and mobile dvices such as iPhones, iPads, etc. The mobile versions of iMovie are a little more limiting than the desktop/laptop alternatives but are capable of basic editing including splicing, voice overs, and combining clips. OpenShot is an open-source video editing tool that feels similar to iMovie. The tool is cross-platform so you can use it on any Windows, Mac, or Linux based computer and can be downloaded from https://www.openshot.org/ Documentation is available at https://www.openshot.org/user-guide/

 

Davinci Resolve is a cross platform profesional video editing tool made available for Windows, Mac, and linux computers by BlackMagic. It offers a level of complexity and tools required to work in production environments. The free version has some mimitations to the paid version, but none that will impeed a high level of work.
