Managing Rules in Outlook on the Web

Note: if your account has been compromised it is possible that a rule was created to automatically direct all incoming mail to your Deleted folder.

This article will cover how to edit and delete Rules in Outlook on the Web

  1. Click the Settings Cog in the top right corner

  2. Select "View all Outlook settings" all the way at the bottom of the settings pane

Settings Pane

  1. From the Mail section (default selected), choose the Rules tabRules Pane

  2. Click either the trashcan icon to delete the desired rule, or the pencil icon to edit it

  3. You can also toggle the rule to just disable it
