Managing Rules in Outlook Desktop App

Note: if your account has been compromised it is possible that a rule was created to automatically direct all incoming mail to your Deleted folder.

This article will cover how to edit and delete Rules

Windows

  1. Under the home tab click the Rules button the select Manage Rules & Alerts...Rules Button

  2. Select the Rule(s) that you wish to edit or delete

  3. In the top toolbar either select Change Rule or Delete

Change Rule or Delete Buttons

Mac

  1. Under the home tab click the Rules button and then select Edit Rules.

  2. Select the rule you wish to edit or delele

  3. Click the minus (-) to delete a rule
