Parent Portal - Issues with Comcast Email Addresses

Parents trying to access the Parent Portal using a email account may not receive emails due to company policy. Parent Portal emails are often automatically deleted by Comcast and end up in the trash bin. If you have a email account and are not receiving emails, there are two options: 

  1. Due to FERPA laws, only students can create Parent Portal accounts. Have your student create another Parent Portal account which points to a different email (such as Google or Yahoo!). Instructions can be found here. 
  2. This Comcast article describes how to redirect suspected Spam from the trash to your inbox:  After following these steps, a new Parent Portal password reset must be requested to send a new email to the parent. Parent Portal Password Reset Instructions.
