Xtender: Change the Number of Documents in Your Query Results

This tip is for anyone using the web version of Xtender.

You know that screen that comes up when you've done a search in Xtender? That’s the one… the Query Results list. Have you ever wished you could have more than 10 documents in your query results list so that you don’t have to keep using the Next option?

Great news -- you can! You can actually see as many as 500 documents in that list. (And for those of you who also work with the batch list to index new documents… this setting works there too.)

Here’s how:

  1. Click your login name in the title bar and choose User Settings
  2. In the User Settings dialog box, open the Search/Result section.
  3. In the Search/Result Set section, navigate to the Query Results Page Size Limit field and enter a number between 1 and 500.
  4. Click the Save button.
  5. The next time you do a search, Xtender will use your new settings.
